Foods to Avoid for Gallbladder disease in Men

The gallbladder is a pear-shaped organ located on the right part of the abdomen. It does not have any important function in the body but comes in limelight when the person suffers from gall bladder diseases. Gall stones can be prevented by keeping a check on the weight of the body by reducing the intake of fatty foods and foods that are rich in cholesterol.

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables are high in fiber and vitamin C, are good in the formation of gallstones. Pectin-rich fruits like as apples, strawberries and citrus are also helpful.
  • Lean meat, fish, and poultry prepared in a proper manner with low fat can be taken by men with gall bladder problems.
  • Whole grains include oats, bran cereal and brown rice. Breads and cereals that contain whole, various grains and high amounts of fiber are more beneficial
  • Low-Fat dairy   products like milk, cheese, curds and whey are beneficial.
  • Plenty of water is essential for maintaining the correct amount of water in the bile.

  • White flour foods like white bread, pasta and many desserts are difficult to digest.
  • Processed snacks like cheese lings, potato chips etc.
  • High-fat foods.
  • Very low-calorie diets that is less than 1,000 calories a day can increase gallstone formation

Over health of a person plays the maximum role in preventing gall stone problems. This could be attained in a better manner if healthy diet is combined with daily exercise.  A short walk of 30 minutes daily is sure to improve the quality of life of person and keep him away from gallbladder problems.
