Stomach ulcers are sores on the inner lining of the upper small intestines or stomach. They are called peptic ulcers. There ulcers are formed when the upper layer of the stomach or intestine is broken.   • Certain Dairy products also result into heartburn, but these products cannot be completely avoided as they are sources of calcium and other essential nutrients that are required by the body. It is better to use the low fat milk, cheese and cream to help in reducing heartburn.
  • Whole Grains are complex carbohydrates in the form of pasta; crackers, corn and rice provide full nutrients to the body and assist in reducing heartburn.

Preventing measures are easier to be determined once the cause of stomach ulcer is known. Preventive measures are merely bringing changes in one’s lifestyle.
